The world of Lustra is fairly old, with little seismic activity. The oceans are barely salinated and remarkably clear where it is free of pollution (which is to say, where the cetacea have purified the waters). The sun is closer to it, so it is a warmer planet then usual, the poles achieving at least some degree of warmth annually. Lustra has two small moons, and one of them is full every two weeks. The lunar pull on the oceans is gentle, but the high and low tides last longer. The remaining forests of Lustra are old and stale, a sad paradise for wild creatures. Great holes in the barriers separating the world of spirit from flesh spill unpredictable floods of magic, which result in fantastic disasters. In many places, nuclear winters and electromagnetic storms can spring up without warning. The places where the Old Gods fell are the worst of all: eerie, unnatural places of crawling poison. The mountain ranges have not been eroded much, still retaining their jagged peaks and rocky passes.
